Dr. Chaitanya Anand is a physician executive with over 22 years of clinical, leadership, and healthcare management experience within the U.S. healthcare system. He brings broad, hands-on expertise across the full continuum of care, including primary care, urgent care, occupational medicine, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and post-acute care such as nursing homes, long-term acute care hospitals, and rehabilitation centers.

He has practiced across diverse healthcare environments, including federal healthcare at the VA, as well as leading systems such as Mayo Clinic Health System, HealthEast, and Fairview. His experience also includes independent private practice and locum tenens roles throughout Minnesota, with longstanding affiliation at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center since 2004.

Dr. Anand currently serves as President of the Minnesota Medical Board (2026), reflecting his leadership in physician regulation, healthcare quality, and patient safety across Minnesota. He has been a member of the Board since 2021.
He is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, and has completed an executive mini-MBA through the Metropolitan Economic Development Association.

Dr. Anand is the founder and owner of My Medical Clinic, established in 2014, a Minnesota-based practice focused on occupational medicine, employee health services, work injury care, and patient-centered primary care in the Twin Cities (Eagan, Maplewood, and Plymouth). His vision emphasizes independent, high-quality medical care, informed decision-making, and strong physician-patient relationships aligned with individual health goals.

Outside of his professional work, he enjoys downhill skiing and biking.
