Introducing Dr. Bhavana Anand
Dr. Bhavana Anand is a physician executive with over 12 years of clinical leadership and healthcare management experience in occupational medicine, employee health, and population health. Her work reflects a strong blend of clinical expertise, operational leadership, and strategic growth within complex healthcare systems.
Since joining My Medical Clinic in 2016 as Medical Director, she has led the organization’s clinical and operational development with a clear vision to build a high-performing occupational medicine and employer health services practice in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. She has been instrumental in establishing clinical standards, expanding services such as workplace injury care, DOT and non-DOT physicals, and employer compliance programs, and driving sustained growth.
Under her leadership, the practice has expanded from a single location to three sites (Eagan, Maplewood, and Plymouth), strengthening its position as a trusted partner for occupational health, employee health, and work comp services across Minnesota.
Dr. Anand is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine through the American Board of Preventive Medicine and holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a Global Health focus. She further advanced her leadership training through the Minnesota Physician Leadership Institute at the Carlson School of Management.
Her expertise in occupational health services, regulatory compliance, workforce health management, and practice development positions her as a key leader in delivering scalable, high-quality healthcare solutions for employers in Minnesota and the Twin Cities.
